Measurement of efficiency of PV power conditioning subsystem(PCS)

In recent years, photovoltaic power generation has attracted much attention in the context of preventing global warming. As traditional power generation methods such as thermal power generation use non-renewable resources such as petroleum and coal as raw materials, carbon dioxide gas that causes global warming is emitted, which affects our natural environment. Photovoltaic power generation is considered to be the main alternative energy source in the future because it does not consume raw materials or release CO2 as a renewable, clean energy source.

After the energy generated by the photovoltaic cell module passes through the power conditioner, the direct current will be converted into alternating current. The charge control unit of the battery converts the electrical energy, minimizes the losses in these conversions, which can increase the efficiency of the entire energy system.

A test bench built by high-precision current transducer AIT60-SG、AIT200-SG、AIT600-SG、AIT1000-SG and the power analyzer can be used for simultaneous PCS input measurement and PCS output measurement.
PCS input measurements: Voltage, Current, Power, ±Energy, Voltage Ripple Rate, Current Ripple Rate
PCS output measurement: voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency, ± energy, efficiency, loss, voltage/current waveform, harmonic analysis, unbalance rate, distortion rate.
